alex niggemann – sorrow

Alex Niggemann teams up with Bon Homme from WhoMadeWho to release ‘Sorrow’ on Watergate Records.

The original is something like the ultimate emotional rollercoaster, the breathtaking voice of Bon Homme tips the musical foundation Alex creates in a sheer perfect way, adding the extra cream on the pie. The ideal track for any sophisticated crowd to enter peak time, just imagining playing it gives me goosepimpels all over already.

Deetron is the first on remix duties and his focus is the beat, his version is definitely more straight forward, very hypnotic and made for the later hours with its infectious synths and darker melodies.

Marco Resmann is the second candidate for a remix, starting quite soft but the further the track goes the tighter it becomes, converting itself in a pure peak time slammer. When the vocal kicks in it all somehow disappears, but only to come back even stronger.

Altogether an irresistible package from one of my fave artist and label, hats down lads and gents.
