Raspberry Pi – A Revolution.
It was about time somebody invented something like the Raspberry Pi®, a pocket computer based on Linux for nothing more than 25 Euros.
Sounds incredible?
Well, it is for sure not a computer as you imagine it, it has the size of a credit card but can do a lot of things your PC can do:
You can make make Spreadsheets, run Office on it, play games, play HD videos and a lot more. It can be connected to a keyboard, has USB interface and lots more.
Here is the view of it open:
The aim is to make computers accessible to anyone and encourage especially young ones to learn more about Linux and all Open Source related topics.
Here you can see the technical specs:
To find out more about it and all its specs please go to their FAQ page here and find out yourself. Another funny story is that they did not manufacture a case for it, another company had to jump in called ‘ModmyPi’, you can find them here.
And the homepage of the Raspberry Pi® is here.
