NEIL DARUWALA – THE CREATOR EP

While we’ll admit that this is our first introduction to the sounds of Neil Daruwala, he’s clearly a man of some repute.

A DJ at the famed Ibiza Sonica station, he has a longstanding relationship with the White Isle that goes back some time now. Naturally enough, Ibiza has long been considered a bastion of electronic music where only the greatest flourish, although this is most definitely the case with Daluwara’s ‘The Creator; which, all things created equal, should go down a storm in the Balearic’s clubs this summertime.

And with only one track on show, this is an EP that dedicates all of its attention to the one track. In normal circumstances that’d be a questionable move, but then again this is a release that sticks out from the pack thanks to the production quality that courses through its veins. Hypnotic and dexterous, it also packs a serious punch, and is characterised by a fierce sheen of moods and grooves that makes themselves apparent throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable release that could well put the producer’s name out there; this is house music for the serious heads only.
