Claude Monnet is a French music legend that has been heading up his own label SSOH for 20 years now.
Here he turns to countryman Geil for a hot new single that gets remixed by the boss man himself as well as Berlin underground techno don Ian Pooley and Atapy, a hot young artist. The results offer a smorgasbord of top sounds that will rock dance floors to their very core.
The one original tune that Geil serves up is a super deep, soft and libidinous groove with whispered vocals in the French language adding untold soul and sex appeal. It’s rounded on the edges, humid in the chords and inviting in the drums. Label boss Claude Monnet then touches it up in his own inimitable style with some sombre chords and downbeat melodies, before Atapy offers up a slick and kinetic tech house rework for the sweatiest part of the night. Ian Pooley, a top Berlin producer for years, then keeps things simple but effective with his remix. All in all a splendid package then.
