DJ ANTZ BACK FROM MIAMI TO PLAY AT AECC FUNDRAISER

HIDDEN’S EASTER FAYRE TAKES PLACE ON SATURDAY, 30TH MARCH

DJ, music producer, fundraiser and, in a recent revelation, golfer, Ibiza resident Anthony Bryans- ANTZ- is a man with very many talents. In the latest of a long list of his moves and shakes, the London born DJ is once again behind another fundraising event for the local branch of the Spanish Cancer Association (AECC), flying in from Miami especially for the event at Hidden Bar, Ibiza, on Saturday 30th March 2013.

In a winter that has seen Antz mostly locked in a studio ear-deep in a very special music collaboration in full swing (more details soon…), Bryans has also been involved in raising the profile of the AECC through his continuing voluntary work with the association, in the form of a number of fundraising initiatives including this, the Easter Fayre in Cala San Vicente, from 12pm-6pm.

Flying straight in from his visit to Miami, where his activities included a few rounds of golf with former racing driver and founder and owner of Jordan Grand Prix, Eddie Jordan, in a game organised by no less than World Number One and a two-time major champion golfer, Rory McIlroy MBE. But Antz has decided to put the golf clubs down, leave the Miami Music Conference to its own devices and fly back in order to be present at the event at Hidden, arriving back on the island just in the nick of time to DJ at the Easter Fayre.

Antz, who himself kicked cancer firmly to the kerb several years ago, first became involved with raising awareness of the local AECC association a year ago, through a meeting arranged by FIX Ibiza’s Jillian Canney with the Ibiza & Formentera branch of the AECC’s Vice-President Sue Mari. Since then, momentus has grown with other future efforts for the AECC including the upcoming 1st Ibiza Charity Polo Cup, taking place on Saturday, June 8th in an initiative with local company, Ibiza Delivers.

The 2nd AECC fundraiser at Hidden Bar, Ibiza – An Afternoon of Fun, Fundraising and Cocktails.

‘Hidden’– literally, in the bay of Cala San Vicente– is the perfect location for a fundraiser of this nature. Evoking memories of Alice in Wonderland’s charming quaint dreamland, weathered bunting and china cups amongst the giant chess pieces and crazy golf course, organisers plan an Easter Fayre with definite references to the ideas and ideals of a good old traditional Easter Fayre.

Bring and Buy stalls, Arts & Crafts, Raffle, Tombola, Crazy Golf, Easter Egg hunt, Easter Bonnet competition, face-painting- just some of the activities in store on Easter Saturday.

Other Easter treats include Hot Cross buns and Easter cakes, plus a selection of cocktails from acclaimed mixologist Chris Edwardes.

Ibiza Resident DJ, Music Producer and AECC volunteer Anthony Bryans, has long since been renowned as the man people go to when they want to get a real party started. Resident at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes and Aura, ANTZ also plays at innumerous private parties on island and internationally and alongside the likes of Carl Cox and Groove Armada. His eclectic mixes of house, disco and classics of all shapes and sizes, perfect dancing fodder for your feet.

Scott Gray (UK/Ibiza)

is an Ibiza based DJ from London. His style is best described as all things funky, including soul, reggae and old school hip-hop. Scott regularly provides the beach sounds at Sands, the sunset sets at La Sal, cool chilled vibes at Hidden as well as private parties all over the Island.
